LEGG Ancestors in Affpuddle Bishop's Transcripts

These are Affpuddle Bishop's Transcripts entries for ancestors and their immediate families. Ancestors are noted with an asterisk (*). The transcription is as accurate as I could make it, but one is never 100% sure. Some entries were illegible and are noted with a question mark (?). The Bishop's Transcripts are not complete; several years are missing, so this is not necessarily the whole picture.

Asterisked names are ancestors.

The Bosden Legges are the Affpuddle group that moved north to become highly-paid factory children: Elizabeth Maria, cotton weaver, whose age is not given, was 11 at the time. Louisa emigrated to Cumberland, R.I. not too much later, in 1889; by 1900 her siblings and parents had, too.
